(they don't work: http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/nogas.asp) Instead it's an honest call to actually use less gasoline. Good suggestions. Here's another suggestion: Buy local. Put down those Chilean strawberries and see what's at your local farmer's market. This will create less demand for truck fuel.
